AF Women of Steel Sprint Triathlon

Amanda and I spent every Monday and Wednesday night for 3 months swimming and training hard for our first triathlon. In January neither of us knew how to swim, so we definitely made some progress, and we had lots of fun training together. I spent most of my time training on the swim and not much time training for the run or biking since I wasn't too worried about those parts, but the hardest part for me was transitioning from the bike to the run. My legs were pretty jello-y and the run started with a huge hill that almost killed me, but after that initial hill, I felt great!

This is us before the race....we were so nervous and had no idea what to expect! I was mostly freaking about the swim!

That's awesome! Congrats! I did a sprint tri this weekend and my number was 157 too!! haha!
