9 10 and 11 months....

Poor second child isn't getting quite the monthly updates as the first child, but this will have to do....

at 9 months.... (October 22)
still not crawling....just sitting and smiling!
He's starting to get frustrated with not moving. He leans forward, but he DOES NOT like him tummy at all! He got his first real sickness over conference weekend, and it was sad. He was puking every time I fed him for 48 hours. I'm so glad it didn't last longer than that. That was the sickness he's ever been. He didn't sleep at all the first night until 5am and literally cried the entire time. I was seriously stressed over it. Sick kids are scary.

He LOVES  toys. Although he gets frustrated with not moving, if I keep him entertained with new toys, he will sit and play with them FOREVER.

at 10 months...(November 22)
he started crawling....like the day he turned 10 months. He went from tummy to sitting position and then he started getting on his knees. He never rocked like Alegra. As soon as he figured out how to get to knees, he would walk his hands out, but not move his legs so he'd just belly flop over and over, but he finally figured it out

He got his top 2 teeth at 10.5 months. It was a rough week. He got sick (again with a cold) and wasn't sleeping good at all. Whew. Glad that week is over!!! He now as his bottom two and top two.

He started drinking from a sippy, and LOVES it.  He also started clapping, and it's sooo cute. If he ever hears any clapping noise, he starts smiling huge and clapping....so proud of himself.

He isn't falling asleep on the go anymore. Sad, but we had a longer run than we did with AJ. I mean....he's never slept in his car seat, but I can usually get him to fall asleep on me at church...in Sunday school.....every week, but he won't anymore. I had my first Sunday that I was in the hall with him the whole time!

at 11 months... (December 22)
He's become quite a fast crawler and just started standing up. He loves to pull himself up, but hasn't started walking around holding on to things yet. I think it start is going to happening fast though because he is getting so busy. He is all over the place. He also hasn't learned how to climb up the stairs yet either, but his favorite spot in the house is the bottom stair. He likes to stand up and hold on to the banister. That was the first place he started being able to pull himself up on. He looks way too big standing up!!!

He is just getting over croup from this last weekend (yep, sick again). I thought breastfeeding was supposed to boost there immune systems? Sure doesn't seem like it!!

I feel like he's a little puppy dog doing tricks right now. We are loving it. He claps when we say "yay". He put his arms over his head when we say, "so big!". He lays his head down when we say "night night". And he is just learning to wave when we say "hi", and I am pretty sure he is learning to say "hi." Maybe it will be his first word like it was Allegra's.

He has quite the scream when he wants to get out of his high chair or wants some attention. He also bangs his head so hard on the back of his car seat, stroller, or high chair. He is obsessed with food. It anyone is eating around him and he isn't getting any, he screams so loud. HAHA! His favorite are oranges. If he see's one he gets so excited, he can't contain himself.  Gosh we like him.
