Steel Days is one of our favorite parts of the summer! We live in the perfect place for the parade. Austin gets really really excited about it. We have no shade and it's lot-a-bit toasty, but it's so fun! We also can walk right down to the carnival, but just to get caramel apples. NO RIDES for us, thank you. Maybe next year?
Every year the Ingersoll Fam gets tickets for the "big show". The little guys always go like 5 hours early to get us the best / closest seats possible. It's always so much fun, except this year we were missing pretty much the whole family, so it was kinda sad, but still fun. The RETURN of the Beatles came. I think that's what their called. Anyway...they sounded just like the real thing. The firework show was also amazing, and it lasted a LONG time too. I love the patriotic music they play. Thanks Jobi for the pic. I seriously need a new camera :(
Well....another year until Steel Days returns. If you don't get a text from Austin inviting you to sit on our lawn for the parade, you're totally invited, but bring an umbrella or canopy so you don't sweat to death.

oh my gosh that is so funny that you remember that random night in Burgess park! I'm not surprised something was always dramatic back in the day haha-and you DID look so cute in that bebe shirt! Okay you guys have so many cute pictures together!! I miss Steel Days & being able to just walk down the street to watch the parade. And the carney!! How can you not ride any rides? The Zipper? Come on!!
I'm so bummed to have missed Steel Days and every other parade, rodeos and etc of what happens back in good ole Utah each summer! Thats awesome you can just walk out your door and there is the parade...how nice is that? Well I miss you tons and hopefully one summer we'll be able to sit with ya on your lawn once Jeff gets over this summer sale job!!! Hopefully soon!!!!
Too bad we missed the parade! Next year we'll be there for sure! I sad to have missed the awesome fireworks too! DANG!

I was so sad that Chase had to work during the parade. He got the text from Austin and I was SO ready to go..until he broke me the bad news that he was working. So, you guys aren't allowed to move until at least next year after the parade so that we can come over and watch from your front yard! And, I am feeling your camera pain. I lost my camera like 2 weeks ago and it SUCKS!!

I miss all the summertime fun in Utah!! You guys really do have a ton of cute pictures of the 2 of you together...gorgeous couple!! And, will you be my personal shopper? You always look so cute. I'm packing my bags for California right now and it didn't take very long. My bag is totally empty because I have NO clothes. I don't even remember the last time I went shopping :( Just start buying 2 of everything o.k?! :)
