For 3 consecutive semesters, I kept forgetting to apply for my Associates Degree. Finally I did last semester, after paying the late fee, of course. This beauty just came in the mail....
MMMM I could just stare at it all day long... that pretty green writing and all. You people might think this is stupid since it's just an associates, but I don't care because I am dang proud of that piece of paper. Blood, sweat, and tears went into it..... literally (probably?)
Well it's no secret that I complain a lot about school. I really hate it, but at the same time I really love it. There's nothing like the feeling of studying your guts out and then walking out of the testing center with an A or working all semester on a project and finally turning it in or just getting your homework done every day. Accomplishment is the best feeling ever, and that's why I love school. Another reason why I love school - I meet some of the coolest peeps ever, and sometimes I get really sad that I never see them again after the final. Anyway.... UVU is the bomb.
Now don't get me wrong here ...... I still hate school.

Wow, am I actually the first to post on your blog:) I am never first at anything. hehe. Congrats! That looks very professional:) Your hard work is paying off!!!!
Congrats! I know how you feel, I had my degree framed I'm so proud of it. :) It will be up on my den wall forever. And yes, it does take blood, sweat, and tears, but it's worth it! Good job!
Yay, Congrats! Oh yeah, you should be proud of that! Getting the generals done is like the hardest, most not-fun part of school. Plus--you work your butt off, so it's nice to have something like a diploma to show it. You're awesome! I just love being your sister
Congratulations! Of course an Associate's is something to be proud of! Well I'm certainly proud of you.
So nice ripping my muscles with you by my side. I'm going to bring matches next time, if I even get a wiff of that horribleness that we caught wind of last night, I'm going to light a match and see who's blowing flames.
That was seriously terrible. It made me lose my appetite, and I still don't have it back.
Hey, how have you been?! I haven't been on in a while! Hey, that's exciting about your associates!!! It's amazing how much happiness one piece of paper can bring! :) I am with you...school has its good things and its bad things! Hope you guys had a fun Valentine's!
