Ohhh just life is all

The donor drive was a success!!! YAY for Adam and Alissa. They are amazing to put that whole thing together, and they worked really hard to do it. It looks like there were a whopping 359 people that joined the registry in those 2 - 1/2 day, which is amazing! They had a good percentage of minorities too, so it was awesome. Lindz and I volunteered to help Wednesday afternoon with these chicas.....
Basically, our job was to talk college students into jointing the registry. It wasn't as easy as it thought it would be. Lots of people (mostly tough looking men) are BABIES! Over and over again.... "I'm afraid of needles!" Hahaha I thought it was crazy that people didn't want to join and save a life because they were afraid of a needle. Wha Wha, people!!! The worst is when people would ask how much it payed. One guy said, "Well, I'm just going to go donate my plasma right now because they actually pay you!" Ewwww scummy man. But, overall there were a bunch of nice, little college peeps that joined, and it was actually a really good time! The more people knew about it, the more willing they were to join. Mi familia came up and signed up. They're the best! I think this picture is so funny. Alissa is holding a Mamba in her hand, and we are soo happy. Good thinkin to bring the mambas, Alissa! PS - they are my favorite candy if you ever want to surprise me with some? Austin does all the time for "good boy" points.
PPS.... I know it doesn't look like we were busy in any of these pictures haha, but we were! ----- next subject -----
Last weekend we went to the IMAX to see Monsters vs. Aliens 3D. Adam and Brandon were pretty much dying to see it.... funny little 5 year old boys. Surprisingly, Austin wasn't as enthused, which was weird. It was so much fun, and a cute movie - minus the little sickness I felt while watching it and the touchy gay guys behind us.

Side note story... Soooo Brandon is talking about the gay guys that were standing behind us being all touchy feely while we were all chatting after the movie. AUSTIN yells: "Ew sick, there were gay guys in the movie?" ME: "Austin, be quiet. They are standing behind you." AUSTIN yells to Brandon: "They were sitting right behind you in the movie?" ME: "No, Austin. SHHHH! They are standing right behind you!" AUSTIN yells to Brandon: "Did that totally ruin the movie for you?" ME: "Austin! SHHHH! They are standing behind you RIGHT NOW." Austin is STILL confused. ---- next subject ----
My dad turned 51 on April Fools Day, so we threw him a little party with a bunch of Winger's wings and sticky fingers MMMMMMMMMMMM.
It's no secret...I love my daddy. I think he is the greatest person in the world.

Happy Birthday Kipper Shnipper!
----I think that's the end of all my subjects.---
