happy MLK day to us!

For the long weekend, we took a road trip to JACKSON HOLE with some friends, and it was seriously the funnest long weekend ever! We left Friday afternoon and drove up with Julie & Mike. We all packed soooo much, and I am SURE I will never ever pack right. I either pack way too much or way to little! Anyway....Austin and I could barely fit in the back, especially with all the groceries. We stopped in Evanston and Austin went into the gas station to get a drink while me and Julie stayed in the car. I said, "Watch, Austin will come out with like 5 different treats!" Low and behold.... he did!!! As long as I get me some MAMBAS - I am one happy passenger! We got a free stay at the most beautiful hotel thanks to Mike & Julie!!! We shared a room with Jimmy & Linzi. Everything was amazing & all organic. I only stay at organic places now....ha. We had a three bedroom suite and it was just amazing. We spent lots of time in the hot tub - my favorite part!!!

Saturday we spent the day snowmobiling. Get ready for some serious pictures everyone. We split up the day with the other couples. Mike, Julie, Aust and I went first thing in the morning - at like 7!!!!!!!!! It was sooooooooooooo beyond freezing. After 5 minutes I told Austin I wanted to go home. Yep.....no bueno when it comes to anything COLD. Austin tried to convince me that everyone was freezing but to try to have fun - I'm still pretty sure no one was as cold as me :) BUT----- it ended up being such a blast once I warmed up a little and the views were incredible! I fell in love with the crystals on every branch! Here are some pictures of Mike & Julie....

and the boys.... We went up to this beautiful waterfall!! The boys were in heaven.... Can you tell that this says 2010???? Haha my 1 kind of sucked. Don't ask me why I didn't do a normal 1 instead of a shark fin. NOTE TO SELF! More pics... I do love my man!! Poor guy gets sooo sick of my camera in his face. We probably have close to a million singles of him haha. Jimmy & Linz There were a bunch of dog sled people. CRAZY!!! I felt like I was in White Fang. And here is where we get to the best part!!! We snowmobiled up to these natural hot springs and it made the cold sooooo worth it!!!

The steam was crazy, so these are the best pictures I could get. (Yes, I'm wearing my beanie cause no way was I driving back down with wet hair!!) My toes were sooo numb-they burned for like ten minutes once we got in. We had to change in a room with a bunch of other people, and I felt sooo weird. (separate rooms for boys and girls just so you know)

That night we went to dinner with everyone! We went to a Mexican place called Merry Piglets (weird names up there!) It was sooo yummy!!!

Then we played some games. We played the funniest game ever that Nate came up with , hence the name of "Nate's Game". There was a judge that picked an object for everyone else to draw. Everyone had two minutes to draw the object their very best and the judge picked the best drawing and the worst. Then the worst had to be the judge the next round. We have some very, very bad artists for friends. Not me, I am awesome. You should have seen my gorilla. I should have taken a picture it was sooo awesome...NOT!!! I won the award for the WORST overall drawing. Wow!! Goldie's Truck/Train (HA) came in a close second as well as Mike's Gorilla and Linzi's hot dog penguin. Niiiiice. I wish I took pictures. It was so funny!!!

Sunday we ALL slept in til about noon, and it was sooo wonderful!! We hot tubbed for like two hours. The boys were challenging each other with near-death activities. Fun for the wives to watch. Austin still has a huge bruise on his forehead.

We also walked around some of the shops with Jimmy & Linzi!

Then, we ate dinner with everyone at Mountain High Pizza Pie, and it was delicious. Seriously, pizza is probably my favorite food. I wish I could eat it for every meal. Chase and Goldie ended up leaving a little bit early because of Ben, and we missed them :( Darn BABIES....just kidding!

After dinner we ate ice cream and played hide and go seek in our rooms. I know I know - we are five!! It was sooo funny. Austin seriously dressed all in black! I had the most amazing hiding spot under the bathroom sink - Austin & Chad hid under a mattress which was genus as well as Linzi in this tiny little bar behind the closet door. Amazing! Awwww it was seriously so much fun - I don't think I can say that enough hahaha!
