E*A*S*T*E*R

Saturday night, after a delicious dinner at Tepenyaki (thanks parents), we colored Easter eggs with Ashley and Gracie to start the festivities!

Gracie wrote her own name on her egg.

Ash would dip one in for .2 seconds, pull it out, and rub it with a paper towel.

This little munchkin almost didn't get to color eggs because she was being NAUGHTY naughty,
but then she gave the sweeeeetest apology and her mama couldn't resist letter her join in.

Gracie is kinda sorta known for her funny faces.

Easter Sunday was fab, like usual.
The weather was beautiful.
Church was amazingly uplifting,
and all the treats......is that even a question???

Ash and Grace got chalk from the Easter Bunny.
Of course drawing on the drinking fountain is way better than the cement.
The girls were in LOVE with the yellow flowers that started blooming out back...
They were picking them for all of us.
Pretty sure there are none left.
Ashley didn't know I was watching her, and she was seriously doing this....

Then she informed me she was thinking about Joshua.
Josh-ua.
She's getting too big.

The boys played some BBALL and got nice and sweaty for our Easter dinner.
Made it all the better.

After dinner, we had our Adult Easter Egg Hunt. My dad TRIES to hide them hard. We only get 1 egg each but they're numbered and correspond with Gift Cards. We got some niiiiiiice mulah to Cafe Rio. MMM MMM

The dogs enjoyed it more than us. I caught this awesome shot on camera... thank you, thank you. Kaiah looks like a beast and Dixie looks soooo scared. Hahaha it makes us all laugh cause really Dixie is sooo annoying to Kaiah and Kaiah is the nicest dog ever, but nevertheless...still an animal. Right Lindsay?? An Animal....not a BABY!!!!

I really didn't do so good at taking pictures during the hunt.
Probably cause the hunt lasted a whole 2 minutes with those hard eggs.
Good job, Dad!

But here we are....

Another Easter come and gone.
Geez we are going on like our 10th Easter together.
Not really....just our 6th....but holy shmoley that's a lot.
I even dressed in my nicest sweats for the occasion.

Looks like you had a good Easter. We also have an adult Easter egg hunt and my brothers try to tackle me - and we're only searching for candy, not gift cards!
