Our "Adventure"

On Friday I called Austin at work to see what we were going to do that night.

I don't know why cause usually it's the same thing.....

Dinner and hang out with friends.

But this time, Austin told me we were going on an adventure....

To do something he'd always wanted to do.

This is very unlike him :)

He wouldn't tell me what we were doing.

He got home....I was asleep.

Very unlike me :)

But that's beside the point.

We went to Wal Mart to get shotgun shells

Oh, why??? Just cause Austin bought a SHOTGUN.

News to me as well. Who knew he even liked guns?

Well ....goodbye dollars and hello to an early birthday present.

Well then the adventure part....

We drove ALL THE WAY AROUND UTAH LAKE.

Is this normal that this is something he's always wanted to do?

I don't know, but it only took ALL night, and he LOVED it.

All I really wanted was some food....good food..... like sushi.

We eventually got around to it at 9 PM.

(Just in time for 1/2 off at Tokyo...YES!)

But, of course along the drive we stopped to shoot the gun.

When I say we...I mean HE....

I almost did,

until I saw the kick.

Pretty sure it would have broke my shoulder.

And it was cold,

So I took pictures from the car....

I guess I'm not must of an adventurist these days either.

He brought his dad's old laptop.....

.....and shot it to pieces. Nice.

Now that Austin has a gun,

He is feeling very manly.

He wants to buy another gun,

and a trailer,

and move to Goshen.
