3 Months Old

Three months sounds way too old to me. Is it that time already? I'm glad I didn't waste any of that snuggling time as a newborn because she already feels like she's too old to snuggle with her mama. I try and force it, but she just wants to be looking around all the time. She likes to be over my shoulder where she can hold her head up or on my lap facing out. She sure likes attention and will definitely let me know when he wants it (like ALL the time). She likes to talk back to me and loves our voices. She SMILES so big when we whistle, sing, or make funny voices. She loves when I sing to her, and I just make songs up all day long. She has definitely found her voice and isn't afraid to use it. She LOVES to SCREEEEEAM!! It cracks us up, and she just blabbers all night long.

At 9 weeks, she pretty much turned into an angel baby. I don't know what switched, but she started sleeping through the night all the sudden and turned into a  happy baby 90% of the time. Some nights she still gets gassy and on Sundays after the weekend she is just worn out, but all day every day is full of smiles, and the last 4 weeks have been the best!

She is changing so much, and I have loved every stage. Right now she is so alert and so busy....constantly wanting attention and constantly kicking her feet and waving her arms. I love watching her grow up and see all the new things she is learning. Her favorite toy is her hands. She can't get enough of them, but she is finally interested in real toys too. She likes her ball and her rattle. She is just learning to be able to grab them. She's also started sucking on everything. I sanitize her hands like all day long because it grosses me out so bad :)

She wants to sleep with her face buried in blankets and it always scares me, but at least we figured out the trick to get her to go to sleep. I can set her in her crib for any of the naps and put her swaddle blanket right up against her face, and she gets knocked out. At nights I go move the blanket since I obviously can't watch her all night.
