THE END - THE WELCOME - THE TAG

Austin and I finished our last finals today (hallelujah!). It is the best feeling ever to have the semester over with! We are getting closer and closer to getting done with school, and it is ExCiTiNg! Okay not THAT close...but kinda.
This weekend was also exciting. We had Austin's cousin JJ get home from a mission - as well as his grandparents. We went to the airport at 11 Friday night to see JJ and 8 in the morning on Saturday to see his grandma and grandpa. It was so fun to see them both, and ever more fun that they will all be around for the holidays... WELCOME HOME!
This is the only picture I took this weekend.... I figured you would all want to see this very....and I mean very passionate kiss we enjoyed infront of a christmas tree (not ours even...risky!). I am so glad I caught the heated moment.....CHEESE BALLS
ANYWAY..... I stole a couple of pics from Jayni (THANKS!)....
This is JJ coming down the elevatorAnd this is the Ingersoll fam waiting at the airport....
On a side note - the snow really sucks, but it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, so I did this fun little Christmas tag...
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Oh for sure wrapping paper. I don't think gift bags are Christmasy enough; they are for birthdays. 2.Real tree or artificial? Hmm... Well my parents always had a real tree, and it smelled really good, but me myself .... I have never bought a tree. I don't know what I'm going to do. Real trees seem like such a pain and too much money for just a good smell?????? (I know it's lame that Austin and I don't get Christmas trees... we try to focus on the true meaning of Christmas...........JUST KIDDING) 3.When do you put up the tree? My parents always put it up right after Thanksgiving, which is what I will probably do .... someday. 4.When do you take the tree down? Day after xmas...I suppose. 5.Do you like Eggnog? Yes, I kind of do but did you know 1 cup has 19g of fat? That makes me not like it so much. Bluh 6. Favorite gift received as a child? I got this doll that grew really long hair. I don't remember what I had to do to make it grow, but it was so awesome. Do you remember chel and linds? 7. Hardest person to buy for? Austin's family. The siblings draw names, and I always have a hard time buying for any of the siblings and Austin's parents. (Does that mean I don't know them good enough? Shoot) 8. Easiest person to buy for? My family. My parents pretty much just tell me what they want, and my sisters basically like all the same things as me. Matt is just plain easy; he loves everything. 9. Do you have a nativity scene? Nope... But, I'm trying to collect Christmas decorations through the years so maybe next year? 10.Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail for sure....e-mail is boring..... like I can talk about boring thouh....I don't even have a Christmas tree or Christmas cards for that matter. 11.Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I haven't really hated any gifts. I love presents, duh! 12. Favorite Christmas movie? White Christmas & It's a Wonderful Life 13.When do you start shopping for Christmas? The day after Thanksgiving, but you better believe I'm thinking about it long before that. 14.Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I don't think so. 15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Crepes on Christmas morning, Austin's homemade Wassail (It's SOOOO good!), Ginger Snaps, Crab legs 16. Lights on the tree? Yes - white please. 17.Favorite Christmas song? All I Want For Christmas Is You - I'm dreaming of a White Christmas - The First Noel - Joy To The World 18.Travel at Christmas or stay home? Anywhere - as long as I'm with family (that's sweet of me) 19.Can you name all Santa's reindeer? You mean dasher dancer prancer and vixen? comet cupid donner blitzen? .... and rudolph? Oh....yep sure can. 20. Angel on the tree top or Star? If i had a tree.....hmmm maybe a star? 21.Open presents Christmas Eve or morning? Both! This year we open Christmas presents with the Ingersolls on Christmas Eve, and we open Christmas presents with the Egans on Christmas - and then we swap next year. 22.Most annoying thing about this time of year? Worrying about buying great gifts with a budget .... boo! 23. Favorite ornament? I don't know? My mom kept all the ornaments we made when we were little, and I like to look at those when they are on the Christmas tree. 24. Favorite Christmas dinner? Crab legs with the Egans!!! 25. Favorite Christmas drink? Austin's Wassail 26.What do you want for Christmas this year? A garage and a bath tub and clear skin.... all of which probably won't happen sooo I'll have to stick with work out clothes. 27.What don't you want for Christmas this year? Nothing??? Hello! Weird Question. 28. What is something you have never done that you want to do for Christmas? I would love to have both my families together on Christmas...that would be the best.
For my second side note - was biggest loser finale last night like the awesomest thing ever? I almost started to cry it was so cool.... okay I didn't get close to crying but it was so awesome! I love healthiness.
MeRRy ChRiSTmaS!

Hey I thought it was you that I'm visiting teaching with. I'm soooo glad. I have a confession too... I'm not very good at remembering either so, I don't know, we'll figure it out. Cute blog by the way! See you on Friday. I haven't done one thing yet for our table. I told ya.. I forget.

oh my goodness...that doll. Did you pull down her arm to make her hair grow??? Did she wear like teal spandex pants with maybe like a skirtish thing over it? If so, I remember wanting (and getting) that very same doll and it made my Christmas.
And yes, you better believe they can keep track of your temple attendence, however they are probably more descrete about it than the meat heads at the gym.

oh and I was going to ask you, how do you have such pretty tan skin this time of year???
If it's a tanning bed, I won't participate, but if there is any other method, please share.

Your tag is awesome!! Go & get a Christmas tree for you & Austin. You can't have Christmas without a tree. & I know how you feel about finals. Kelly just finished his last one on Tuesday!! We just found out he's got spring, summer & fall semesters & he'll be done!! We're seeing a light at the end of a tunnel. So you should totally see the snow here now. There's probably 4 inches in my backyard!! It is so crazy. I'm going to take Adde & Ez out today to build a totally awesome snowman. It totally makes for a white Christmas. Kelly said he's never seen snow before Christmas time or on Christmas. After Christmas though - it can go away.
