Vegas Vacay

I finally got to see my long lost sister!!!!!!!!!!! Aust and I went on a little weekend getaway with our vacation partners, Adam and Alissa. I was soooo excited to see Lindz cause we hadn't seen each other in exactly 8 weeks, which is 5 weeks longer than we've previously gone.... wow it seems like so much longer than that. Austin thinks it's weird that I miss her so much???? Boys just don't understand what sisterly love is all about.

Lindz and Bran took us to this Mexican restaurant at a casino. It was delish. We all shared a meal (not like all 6 of us shared one meal, but each couple shared a meal) and ordered waters. We were soo embarrassed how cheap we are. Brandon had to get a dessert he felt so dumb haha.

Here we are just working the slot machines....yep! No, that's a lie. We didn't even touch them. Why didn't we get a picture pulling the slots? Dumb. Oh yes, I am old enough to gamble now. I didn't, but it just feels good to be old enough.

(I missed the picture though where they doubled their dollars) ...and then Brandon lost it all...haha. Apparently you aren't supposed to take pictures in casinos. Like I knew that...it was my first time ok? At about this point in time, the security guy came and asked Aust for ID. Austin got a little mad and said, "Why don't you ID these guys?" Just so he wasn't the only one. Yay for looking like we are 12 (I know I do too)!!!! The next morning Bran got up and made us all yummy crepes. We were all eating and looked over at Adam having a moment with Patrick....hahaha PS - isn't Sweet Home Alabama one of the best chick flicks of all time? We also went swimming at their pool. It was nice and overcast so it wasn't TOO hot. Lindz sat our there with earplugs and studied the WHOLE time while we all played. Poor woman. Did I mention she is pretty much killing PA school? Oh and she is visiting in a couple weeks, and I'm going to help her catch up on her blog posts... promise!!!! There just wasn't time for that this visit, but she is well and living if you are wondering.

The boys acted like they were twelve again...shocker. They seriously played with this little football for like 5 hours straight. Austin was probably so happy to have boys to play with him in the water. He thinks I am sooo boring at the pool. Ohhhhh Adam's slip into the pool can never be forgotten. You guys should have seen it..... haha.... it's hard to explain!

Then the dreadful goodbyes began :( We had to go back to St. George Saturday cause Adam and Alissa had tickets to a play, and Lindz had to study all night anyway. We ate at CPK before we hit the road. We ate the yummiest pizzas ever. Love that place.
