Feliz Navidad!

We had quite the low key Christmas this year, which is perfect!! We had a 7 hour flight home from Orlando on Christmas Eve so we were pooooped!! We went over to my parents. My mom made us a lovely dinner and we watched Return From Snowy River (I know, totally not a Christmas show?). Then we even hit the sack pretty early.

This was our year for Ashley and Gracie, and they were home for 24 hours before having to go back to Idaho for the remainder of Christmas break, so we snuggled with them a lot.

This was the first Christmas I woke up before anyone else, especially the kids. Time difference does that to you. I got up and finished reading The Hunger Games!!! Soooooo good. I'm obsessed. I couldn't stop reading, but I definitely took a tiny break to open presents :)

Santa brought these two crazies leapsters and they quietly played with them ALL day.

This was the gift I was excited to give this year. I made myself a denim quilt when I was in high school and Brandon has been asking me to make one ever since, so I purposely drew his name this year and made him this gem with BYU backing and he loved it!! Ya ya!

Ash and Grace got pretty spoiled!!! Shocker!!!

After presents we ate crepes...our family tradition. I finished my book. We played a new game we got. We ate more food and lounged. Then we decided we needed to get out of the house and go eat dinner. The only place we could find that was open was Mi Ranchito, so we went there. It was pretty crowded actually and we thought it was kinda funny!!

After dinner we watched It's a Wonderful Life and played some card games. My kind of Christmas. I never even showered or got out of my PJ's haha. Here we are playing our card game snugglin with Maffew and Dixie. People feel like they need a pic when I'm in any kind of physical contact with a dog haha

We also had our annual Christmas bowling party with the Ingersolls.

Now we're just getting ready to spend our New Years chaperoning the Stake Youth Dance.... YEAH!!!!
