In the good ol' summertime....

We've been having so much fun livin on Grandma and Grandpas farm this summer!!

We haven't helped near as much as we should, but we are totally reaping the benefits.

Is that really bad to admit??

Gma and Gpa have oodles and oodles of raspberry bushes.

For a couple weeks there I kinda got obsessed with picking them and making jam.

I just learned how to make jam and kind of feel pretty awesome about it. (thanks to cindi lou)

Now the raspberry bushes are drying up but the apricots have started overflowing!!

I've totally been sneaking into their stash of dried apricots this week.

And soon they'll start having bundles of corn!

I'm totally going to learn to garden when we ever get into a house!

Last weekend Austin and I got to take care of Ethan & Emery while Adam and Alissa took a vacay to St. George!! Holy freak was it a lot of work haha. How do people do it? Don't get me wrong...I'd offer every week to get to spend time with these two lovlies.

Emery.... is obviously to DIE for. She is 2 months now, and she keeps getting browner and browner and cuter and cuter!! She still has those big eyes and such a concerned look on her face most of the time, but she has started to smile lots and what do you know??? dimples everywhere!! I wasn't good enough to get her to smile and take a picture of it, but one day!! Austin fell in love with her because she slept on his chest almost the whole night and it was way too sweet for me to even handle. She LOVES her stomach and she LOVES to cuddle, so we honestly did not put her down!!!!!

Aaron came and visited us since we were kind of home-bound with the two.....especially with Ethan,  the trouble maker :) The cutest trouble maker you ever did see, of course!!! Binky only for bedtime? Not so much.... oops!!! He is scootin around getting into everything and totally wants to do everything on his own, but my favorite thing about him is that he will totally sit and cuddle with you while you watch a movie. He loves movies and always falls asleep in our arms. When I came home from the grocery store, I walked into the bedroom to see him and Austin snuggling. Ethan had the remote in one hand and chocolate licorice in the other while watching the Jepsons. So Austin....so cute!

This summer I have spent more time around a campfire than any other summer!!! We go to the canyon for a lot of family nights with my parents, siblings, and uncle! We have KFC or tinfoil dinners and LOTS of treats :) For young women's, we usually have a campfire too so basically this means I am eating way too many smores and always smelling nice and smokey!!!

In other news...Austin really wants me to blog about him meeting and having lunch with Jerry Sloan. I am still laughing over this because when I told Austin I probably wouldn't blog about it since he didn't have a picture he said" What? You won't blog about it? Then how am I ever supposed to remember it?"

So here I am blogging about it even though he tells it with much more enthusiasm. Jerry started talking to him and a couple of work buddies in line at Rumbis. Then he came and sat right next to them and the whole time they were eating, him and Jerry were chatting up a storm. Talking about life, basketball, and what he does in his spare time. Austin always loved him but now he is like IN love with him. He talked about it for 1 week straight. So now Austin, you can remember it! Nice.

Could we just live in the summertime forever??

I do not want it to end....maybe cool down just a titch but never end!
