Sweet Cheeks

Little miss sunshine is 6 weeks old going on 7. I can't believe she is almost 2 months!!!

Are those cheeks growing or what?? I feel like she's only growing in her cheeks and her length. Most people still say she has my face and Austin's long body. A lot of her dresses are used as shirts and her pants as capris.

Her eyelashes are starting to grow, and she is losing all the hair on the top of her head...boo!

Her acne is finally starting to clear up.....right in time for her to get cradle cap :) Awesome.

She's responding to us more and more each day and smiling so much! She smiles a ton after I feed her or in the mornings. She's so happy in the days but she's still fussy at nights. The gas drops have helped a lot but sometimes....she freaks!!

Sleep...well I can't even comment on that because she plays with my mind. Some nights she sleeps 8 hours straight. (rarely) Most nights she sleeps well and only wakes up once at about 3 or 4, and some nights she wakes up all night long. I'm still experimenting with the whole sleep thing...and in that case...I sorta cuddle her all night long. Ah.

I said I would never be a mom that slept with the baby in the bed or sat in the back of the car with her,
but I am totally that mom. I am so wussy...I can't believe it.

She still hates her car seat, but I think she's getting better. She always cries but will usually fall asleep. I hate when she cries!!!

My favorite things right now are her smiles, her sneezing, and when she is in that half sleep mode. She makes all sorts of faces and giggles. It's the best.

She's outgrown pretty much all of her newborn clothes and is wearing 0-3 months. We got to get out a bunch of new pajamas and clothes this week!

I  always have her nails painted these days too. It's just too cute.

We are finally starting to leave the house....hahaha!!! Going places with her is finally getting easier...mostly because I am getting used to feeding her in public. That's always a weird thing to get used to.

We left her with a babysitter for the first time, and I felt so weird without her. I think I would have enjoyed batman a lot more pre-baby :) Not that I was worried about her well-being with her grandma Cindi.....just that it was sad to leave her!

She is getting out of that curled up stage....sad. She likes to be stretched out. She stretches soooooo much!!

And well...is there anything else you would like to know about our baby? We still stare at her all night long and can't get enough baby loves. Austin always wants her to fall asleep on him, but then when she's asleep he wants to wake her up. He's also super jealous that I get to stay home with her all day long. She sorta stares at me when he's holding her and I sorta love it. HA!

PS....I am thinking of going private. I am also one of those moms. Blogs are out anyways, right? It's now just a journal for our sake.
