The weather is dreary, wet, cold, dark, and just plain depressing (Obama for pres?) today. Sooooo.... do yourself a favor and make a batch of these scrumptious, delectable, mouth-watering cookies.....seriously. They can do wonders.
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 c. butter
1 -1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 can canned pumpkin
2 c. chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350. Mix butter and sugar together. Add eggs, soda, baking powder, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add pumpkin and flour, and lastly chocolate chips. Drop on cookie sheet and bake about 10 - 12 minutes.
Sometimes I feel as if I am the only one to post about Pumpkin Cookies in the Fall time (I guess it's pretty much Winter now huh?). What is this? Am I really the only one addicted? I just keep making batch after batch - and don't think for a second that Austin is eating them because he hasn't even had one (but he is weird).

Wow... you are not the only one! I Make these cookies like everyday! Although... I do it the "cop out" easy way. I just use a spice cake mix and add the eggs and oil off of the back of the box + pumpkin and chocolate chips! YUM!

I love pumpkin cookies. I am a little scared to make a batch because Chase doesn't like pumpkin. So, pretty sure I would be eating about 3 dozen cookies alone...I think I will just wait for you to bring me over one or two. I'll be waiting...
