Today Austin is TWENTY-SIX ..... I repeat TWENTY-SIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you believe it?????????

I can't.... not because that is super old or anything but just because TIME FLIES!!!!

Twenty Six things I LOVE about him...

26 - Every time he calls me and leaves me a voicemail, he will say, "HEY ANGE, THIS IS AUSTIN" like I don't know who it is.

25 - His nickname for me is SHRIMP.... not babe or hun or sweetie... just shrimp!

24 - He always lets me hold the remote and choose what we watch (well most of the time). Rare in a man, I know.

23 - He CANNOT surprise me. He ALWAYS tell me what he got me for my birthday/Christmas before the actual day, and he begs me to let him open his presents early.

22 - He LOVES to sleep out in the family room!! Last night we pulled the mattress out into the family room and had a slumber party. He loves stuff like that.

21 - He likes clothes (especially jeans) just as much as I do. He loves for me to bring him home something when I go shopping and even is happy when I buy myself something (cause it never happens...ha joke)

20 - The only thing that really makes him mad really fast is bad drivers (or sometimes in basketball I guess). He gets serious road rage.

19 - He only lets me put my feat under his leg instead of on top (if that makes sense) because he doesn't want the bottom of my foot touching him.

18 - He gets teary eyed in movies like Marly & Me and Bridge to Terabithia.

17 - If anyone ever asks him to do them a favor, he will ALWAYS say yes....always. He hates saying NO to people.

16 - He likes most people but he HATES Cate Blanchett and will NOT see anything she is in. Luckily he didn't know she was in Robin Hood.

15 -  He is addicted to mouthwash and goes through it faster than anyone in the world, I'm sure.

14 - Don't even think about taking food off his plate without asking first.... just don't.

13 - He insists he has blonde hair and does NOT have freckles.... hmm?

12 - He will NOT speak in Malagasy if you ask him to. No way. He hates it, and I do NOT get it!!!

11 - He always wants me and him to be on a team when playing games.

10 - He thought he would be a millionaire by the time he turned 30 and therefore had a serious midlife crisis when he turned 25 and realized he was nowhere close haha.

9 - He LOVES life, and every day he has a new thing he wants to do.

8 - He is so hard to play games with!! He says he can't enjoy himself cause if he is losing he is pouty and if he is winning, he feels bad for me. He doesn't get that it's JUST a game!!

7 - {Sometimes} he has a problem with fibbing. Just because he likes to tell people what they want to hear......like the time he told the Elder's Chorum I run marathons, and then came home and said, "If anyone asks if you run marathons, just say yes, okay?" I won't get into that story.

6 - He is such a kid at heart.... Once he whipped apple beer to look like beer while he watched the superbowl. He will be a fun dad....someday.

5 - He comes up with the funniest outfits sometimes. Church socks, vans, basketball shirts, a cavemen baseball hat, and a soccer jersey. Yep.......that's my husband.

4 - He has a widow's peak the size of TEXAS!

3 - He is constantly going over our "numbers" and figuring how much money we have to save to have a million dollars when we turn 50 (or something to that effect).

2 -Whenever there is an awkward silence, he will randomly say "WELL GOOD JOB, EVERYONE"

I'm so0o0o0 happy you were born, hubs!

He even got off work early tonight to go out on a date with me. First date in a month!!! I was so happy to get time to just chat with him. We went to Macaroni Grill. No one has better bread NO ONE.

Afterwards all the guys came over and we had....

"Austin's Birthday Bash Twenty Ten" (Thanks Cam for naming it)

2 AM and now the party is over. Here's to another year....
